I only ask for what I need to do the job, I don't sell your details to anyone, and I keep them no longer than I have to. The detail below is the formal bit, in plain English. Last updated 5 July 2026.
Binge Built is run by James Binge, a sole trader trading as Binge Built. For now, Binge Built trades by email rather than from a published business address. For anything about your data, email hello@bingebuilt.co.uk. I'm not yet registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO). The registration number will appear here as soon as it's issued, and I won't launch any tools that collect data for clients before it's in place.
Only the suppliers needed to do the job, and only what they need: Cloudflare (hosting), Web3Forms (relays the contact form to my inbox), Proton (my email), my domain registrar, Google (your Business Profile), GoCardless (Direct Debit) and, where you take payments, Stripe. Some are based outside the UK; where they are, the transfer is covered by appropriate safeguards such as UK adequacy or standard contractual clauses. I never sell your data and I never pass it to anyone for their own marketing.
If your site has a tool that collects visitors' details (a contact form, a "ring me back", an RSVP or similar), those details belong to you, not me. You decide what's collected and why (in data-protection terms, you're the "controller"); I just run the tool on your behalf (the "processor"), under a short written agreement. Each such tool carries its own privacy notice and clears personal details automatically once they're no longer needed.
You can ask to see what I hold, have it corrected or deleted, ask me to pause using it, object to a use, or get a copy to take elsewhere. Where I rely on your consent, you can withdraw it any time. Just email and I'll sort it, normally within a month and free of charge. There's no automated decision-making or profiling.
Please tell me first and I'll try to put it right. You also have the right to complain to the ICO at ico.org.uk/make-a-complaint or on 0303 123 1113.
Any questions about your data, email me and I'll answer plainly.
